The Somalia Hospitals Advancement Network (SHAN) is a national not-for-profit, non-governmental, membership organization which is an independent entity for Medical Science Journalism Group in which serves to unify, integrate and advocate for the private health sector of Somalia with the goal of ensuring the scaling up and strengthening of health systems, thereby spurring greater investments as well as increasing access to affordable and quality accreditation nationally, regionally and globally.
Through our members, we are the voice of hospitals and health systems on the national stage after the doctor’s association.
The Somalia Hospitals Advancement Network (SHAN) accepted for the 48th World Hospital Congress attendance, taking place in Geneva. The IHF World Hospital Congress provides a unique learning and networking experience.
We connect healthcare leaders, supporting them to excel through training and development. We create forums for national, regional and international, peer to peer knowledge exchange. Our events, programmes, and special interest groups showcase good practices. We work in partnership with international organizations on key issues for our members.
