Through our members, we are the voice of hospitals and health systems on the national stage after the doctor’s association (SMA).
We provide our members with a platform for knowledge exchange and networking with different actors in the health sector. Motivated by a shared commitment to well-managed hospitals, our members act together to improve the standard, quality, and level of healthcare service delivery.
The Somalia Hospitals Advancement Network (SHAN) is the only organization solely dedicated to professionals involved in managing and directing security and safety programs in healthcare facilities. SHAN is a professional association with around than 100 members who are healthcare centers and health facilities providers.
